The Finance Department of Punjab has issued a notification to revise the wages of workers at the government level in the province. In Lahore, the wages of workers at the government level have been increased by 85 rupees. In other districts of Punjab, the wage of labor has been increased up to 70 rupees. The daily wage of the laborer has been increased from 965 rupees to 1 thousand 60 rupees.
150 rupees have been increased in the daily wage of a skilled worker at the official level. The daily wage of a skilled worker has been fixed at 1300 rupees and 1450 rupees.
The expenses of driver, electrician, dentist, car painter, furniture polisher were fixed at Rs. 1450. Increasing the daily expenses of Mali by Rs. 102, instead of Rs. 973, it will be Rs. 1,750.
