Journalist Hamid Mir discussing Amjad Islam Amjad's "Journey to Makkah and Madinah" column, which was written when he left for Umrah five days before he passed away, at an Urdu conference Amjad Islam Amjad made mention of the fact that he noted in it that he frequently prayed while seated in front of the Kaaba while in a wheelchair. I offered up yet another prayer, he noted in his piece. While performing this dua, which begged Allah to pardon all the people who had wronged me in the past, I also prayed and felt wonderful. For each one of them, I prayed.
Speaking to the young people present at the conference, Hamid Mir advised them to learn to forgive others as a life skill from Amjad Islam. Forgive someone who tries to damage you, but do not do so if they harm your nation.
Ahmed Shah and his colleagues deserve praise from journalist Hamid Mir for putting together this literary festival in Lahore. I have one of Ahmed Shah's delights, just as he is offering a bouquet by fusing all the cultures of Pakistan. I won't give up.
It is excellent that the people of Sindh have come here, as Ahmad Shah said when he explained that I am a son of Sindh and that I am from Karachi. Despite the fact that their village is in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, they are undoubtedly Sindhi sons. He claimed to have united three provinces in himself by adopting Sindh and coming to give his heart to Lahore.
All the provinces, he claimed, are visible here, but Balochistan is not; yet, Kamran Lashari, a Lahori Baloch, is unquestionably seated.
