Announcement of public holiday in schools on Saturday 14th January, local body elections, public and private, schools and colleges closed.

(Web Desk) Public and private schools and colleges will remain closed across Sindh on Saturday, January 14, due to the municipal elections, a notification has been issued. According to the details, the staff in Karachi and Hyderabad divisions will perform election duty, as directed by the Election Commission. Undersecretary School Education Ghulam Akbar Laghari and Secretary College Education Ahmed Bakhsh Nareju have issued a formal notification, in view of the holding of municipal elections, there will be a general holiday in schools tomorrow in Thatta district as well.
